Ohio earthquake reported near Lima, Fort Shawnee
A magnitude 2.4 earthquake occurred just outside of Lima and Fort Shawnee, Ohio, overnight. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 6.7 km, according to the US Geological Survey. It happened around 12:22 a.m. Friday. Of the 46 "I felt it" responses reported to USGS most are centered around Lima and Fort Shawnee, which are both about 3 miles from the epicenter of the earthquake. Some responses stretch as far south as Dayton and far east as Kenton and Monroe Township. No one reported more than a light shaking.
