Anne Boden cheered its profitability, surging customer base, and lack of reliance on a ‘silly valuation’ to raise cash.
The index closed 3.73 points higher, or 0.05%, at 7,473.01.
JD Sports saw its share price rise by more than 6%, while Frasers Group and Next shot towards the top of London’s leading index.
The retailer insisted it had sought approval from the pop star but would be removing the collection out of ‘respect’.
