Cottage Hospital no longer able to accept Medicare because of violations
Galesburg Cottage Hospital will no longer be able to accept Medicare for in-patient services. A termination notice was given on Monday that the agreement between Galesburg Cottage Hospital and the Secretary of Health and Human Services has been severed. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services says in the notice they terminated their agreement because of Cottage not being in compliance with four different sections of the conditions of participation in Medicare.
