The brief tongue-in-cheek fundraising event has been held since 1998. Proceeds for this year’s race will go to SPCA Annapolis.
The inaugural parade and swearing-in for Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley and the City Council will begin at 1 p.m. Monday. An One Annapolis Inaugural Ball will follow starting at 6 p.m. at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel.
