Reseachers at Newcastle University, UK have identified three key areas of the nervous system which are underactive in people with post-Covid fatigue. Combined with the findings of previous University research into other chronic conditions with fatigue, the team are examining in a trial whether stimulating the vagus nerve with small electric currents to the skin around the ear can improve symptoms for patients with fatigue after having had Covid.
