Groundbreaking is expected to start in mid-July or early August and take about eight weeks to finish. By October, the play area should be ready to host children, with flowers and shrubs scheduled to be added in spring 2025.
The playground, to be built near the main Clinton-Macomb Public Library, will serve everyone equally, including the 4,600 people in Clinton Township who have intellectual and physical disabilities. Ground-breaking is anticipated in the spring.
