Orthopedic Surgery, Knee Replacement Martin William Roche, MD, is an innovator and pioneer of complex knee reconstruction and minimally invasive techniques for joint replacements. A board certified orthopedic surgeon, he performed the first sensor-assisted and robotic-assisted knee surgery in the world. A native of Ireland, Dr. Roche attended Cork Medical School, then completed his residency and internship at the University of Miami in Florida.
