It is a "time of togetherness," in the words of Paul Liepelt, a pastor at Annville Church of the Brethren. But this year, what is normally a blessing comes with the curse of the coronavirus. Throughout Advent and anticipating Christmas Eve, churches in Lebanon County have responded differently to the pandemic. Some, including St Cecilia's Catholic Church in Lebanon, are having in-person services on Christmas Eve, in many cases recorded or streamed also, even as many churches have moved online entirely.
