The New Mexico Department of Justice ruled that the City of Anthony, NM violated the Open Meetings Act during the August 7th, 2023 meeting.
Wednesday night, Anthony Board of Trustee members will be voting on a Resolution of No Confidence against Mayor Diana Murillo.
The Board held its first meeting as multiple members of the Board and mayor Diana Murillo are involved in pending lawsuits against each other.
The City of Anthony, New Mexico removed public comments from the Board of Trustees meetings in March, and that has caused a stir not only among Anthony’s citizens, but also with one of its Trustees. Scott Brocato has the story.
