'We have to expose the truth': The push to tell the full story behind our colonial statues
Australia has more than 200 statues dedicated to political and business leaders during the colonial period (1788 - 1901). In recent years there have been calls from many Indigenous groups for truth-telling on their monuments, to reflect some of their complex legacies.
