Danville Police Department promotes 19 officers
The Danville Police Department announced yesterday the promotion of 19 officers that will be effective January 1, 2021. Â Chief Scott Booth promoted officers to the ranks of captain, lieutenant, sergeant and corporal in a ceremony held in the auditorium at the O. Trent Bonner Middle School. The department followed COVID protocols and used Zoom in order for family and friends to watch the ceremony.
