The Danville Police Department announced yesterday the promotion of 19 officers that will be effective January 1, 2021.   Chief Scott Booth promoted officers to the ranks of captain, lieutenant, sergeant and corporal in a ceremony held in the auditorium at the O. Trent Bonner Middle School.
