Following its rate-setting meeting on Thursday, the Monetary Board raised interest rates by 50 basis points.
Data released by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on Monday showed that while FDIs amounted to $626 million in net inflows, this was lower by 7.9% year-on-year.
Filipino consumers did not get their much-needed respite from high prices last month after inflation quickened faster than expected in November.
