Swindon Town fans get go-ahead to restore gravestone of James Munro
A group of Town fans raised more than £1,500 for the grave restoration. Swindon Town Official Supporters’ Club joined forces with Trust STFC to set up a JustGiving page and provided most of the funding. But many fans chipped in to help push the amount to £1,500. At a ceremony at Highworth Memorials Office, Antony Reeves of the supporters’ club and Cliff Ponting of the trust presented the cheque for work to begin to Mark Finnegan of Swindon Memorials.
