Plans for new date and location of Gate To Southwell Festival following this year s postponement

After its postponement this year, plans are being drawn up for the return of the Gate To Southwell Festival Ââ with a new date and location.
In previous years, the event has taken place in June at Southwell Racecourse.
However, organisers are planning for next yearâs festival to be held from Thursday, September 2, to Sunday, September 5, at Kirklington.

Having cancelled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, organisers are confident the four days of folk, root and acoustic music will go ahead in 2021. ....

On a new rural site near in Kirkwell, nearby to the Nottinghamshire market town of Southwell and on a new date in September, the 14th Gate to Southwell Festival takes place from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th September 2021.
The festival will be making itself covid safe.
Showcasing international performers of the folk scene, and local performers, with folk dances playing a big part over the weekend, there s plenty of opportunity to get involved in the workshops, ceilidhs, open mic stages and children s events.
Over 50 artists performing over 4 days on 4 main stages, on-site camping, kids activities, street theatre, comedy, spoken word and lots more. ....
