The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has recalled how he decried the effect of weaponising religion for political purposes in Nigeria ahead of the 2023 elections.   Sowore gave the warning when he featured on "Apostolic Roundtable", a Christian programme in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, in the build-up to the February 25 presidential election.   Sowore had warned that the candidate the Christian community had chosen over other presidential candidates might not win the presidential election as God cannot be divided.
