few times, skiing in norway, paris, alaska, washington, d.c., your next tip is to say stack your coupons up to get some of these deals. how do you do that? >> right. so, you go through the portal to earn your miles. but then a lot of credit cards these days will have offers so if you log into your amex account $15 statement credit on so many a dollars at toys r us or go to retail me not to find coupons. apps that will help you hunt down the coupons, saving money while you are still racking up all these airline miles. >> if we are able to track prices online we are able to figure out what time and what place is the best spot to get the gifts. you say we ought to arm ourselves with apps, smart phones before we head out. what are some examples of those? >> definitely. these days, you know, a lot of retailers have their own app.s that will have coupons, like macy's will have their own apps, appears like poach it and snag it. if you are in the store and want to make sure you are getting a good deal on something. use your smart phone to scan
training? >> greta, that's absolutely the movement which is to create a cooperative atmosphere where the healthcare professionals are going to be working with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, pharmacies in order to share the burden and come up with a strategy for healthcare that does not simply rely on the primary care doctor doing everything. there is no question that that's how we are going to relieve the burden hopefully. >> sort of interesting. even with computers i was in saudi arabia with laura bush years ago and they were having anderson watch the surgery and actually assist the doctors in saudi arabia with monitors and cameras and computers. it's amazing what we can do long range. >> no question. with tele medicine and robotics and app.s that will monitor your own healthcare that will make a big difference but we still need the doctors and right now we have a 20 to 30,000 deficit. >> we need to take care of
up. richard, a lot of need things going on today. i remember some app.s specifically to help veterans get jobs. it's all about placing them in a job which best suits the skills they learned in the military career. >> reporter: yeah, luke, the objective is to try to reach 500,000 jobs. so far the program has been successful at 100,000. the challenge is this cultural whiplash. the medal of honor recipient dakota meyer describes it for us. >> we were successful in the military, built our whole life. we get out in the civilian life and now we can't even get a job? provide for our family? >> reporter: now, what the medal of honor recipient was describing is the difficulty of translating skills from the military to civilian life. what they have is several tools in their digital strategy. this is one of them. this is a resume engine.
