A user has shared a video of the AirPower prototype charging the Apple Watch, a demo of what could have become a reality.

Apparently, it had overheating issues. We later got MagSafe for iPhones, an infinitely better idea. But assuming this is real, Apple Demo shows it off charging an Apple Watch Series 4. He says it gets “quite warm.”
Apple's AirPower prototype was recently seen powering up the Apple Watch. This is the first time that the charging mat has charged an Apple device "efficiently."
