Appleton Post-Crescent NEW LONDON - Multiple propane tanks exploded as firefighters responded to a fire at Huckleberry Acres Campground Friday afternoon.  The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. Friday at Huckleberry Acres Campground, about 6 miles south of New London. The Wisconsin Department of Justice plans to launch a tracking system for sexual assault kits that will be accessible to survivors by the end of this year. The system will give survivors of sexual assault and others — police, prosecutors or health care professionals, for instance — the ability to monitor the amount of time kits spend at different points in the system, including hospitals, police departments and crime laboratories. APPLETON - Outagamie County's North Dog Park will permanently close at sunset on March 21 due to the county expanding the northwest landfill. The park, on landfill property, must be 1,000 feet away from landfill activities per Department of Natural Resources' regulations. The South and Small Dog Parks are outside of the buffer zone of the landfill and will stay open for the time being.
