Rep. Tom Cole (OK-04), Vice Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, released the following statement after H.R. 4821, the Department of Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2024, passed the U.S. House of Representatives. The Nigerian Senate has passed the N2.17 trillion 2023 Appropriation Bill after the third reading. The Senate passed the bill on Thursday after the report of the harmonized sittings of the Senate and the House of Representatives was submitted by Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, the Chairman of the Appropriations Committee.
