강백호는 15일 서울 잠실야구장에서 열린 2021 신한은행 SOL KBO리그 두산 베어스와의 원정 경기에 3번타자 겸 1루수로 선발 출장했다. 그런데 7회까지 1루 수비를 맡던 강백호가 8회말 포수로 등장했다. 올 시즌 포수 수비는 처음이다. 강백호는 1루수로 98경기, 우익수로 5경기에 출전했다.
