A GREENOCK firefighter and his colleagues safely delivered hundreds of toys to children in need across Inverclyde in time for Christmas. Watch commander David McGinley and his wife Fiona launched a toy and gift appeal a few weeks ago and asked colleagues and friends to donate what they could manage. The mountain of toys became so great that the couple had to ask for help with deliveries. Greenock vehicle rental firm Arc Fleet Services generously stepped in to help. David and the team donated the toys to the i58 Project, which runs Inverclyde Foodbank, and the gifts went to families ...
