Fire crews were called to the blaze just after 1pm on Sunday. A blaze tore through a community centre in rural south Auckland on Sunday afternoon, melting stacks of plastic chairs and leaving the outside charred. Four fire trucks and one tanker were called to tackle the fire at Ardmore Hall, Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) spokeswoman Casey Cook said.
