A NEW stretch of permitted footpath is to be created to the benefit of walkers using the Dales Way path in Hubberholme.
The event, hosted by the Windermere Motor Boat Racing Club, took place on Saturday, April 20, with vessels having to use a particular fuel type.
From 25 March, visitor boats will be able to land on the Farne Islands for the first time in two years, with bookings now open with boat trip operators.
