The funding, awarded through the National Lottery s Awards for All Scheme, means the village hall can ditch its outdated heating system which, at a cost of £5,000 per annum, had not managed to get the hall above 17 degrees. The new radiant heaters soon to be installed are cheaper to install and reputedly much more efficient and cheaper to run than conventional electric heating. ....

The Stourport High School and Sixth Form College minibus will be out and about every Wednesday from this week until school re-opens to all students. The vehicle will be stocked with pens and pencils, erasers, rulers and paper, library books, sanitary products, a small treat, fruit and water and useful school contacts cards for students. ....
