Harrington Artwork Chosen for State Exhibit | University of the Ozarks


Undulation, accepted into the Arkansas Arts Council’s Small Works on Paper touring exhibition 2021.
There will be a virtual grand opening for the exhibit at 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 15, on the Arkansas Arts Council Facebook page and Youtube channel.
Undulation is intaglio print and paper cut that Harrington created in 2018.
“I am honored to be accepted into this Arkansas art tradition,” Harrington said. “This show highlights the unique and diverse artworks on paper from Arkansas artists. This show is a fantastic opportunity to have my art viewed all over state since this is a touring exhibition. I have been in the Small Works on Paper exhibition times prior. ....

3 Russellville artists featured in 2021 Small Works on Paper exhibit


LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Arts Council announced the artists for the 2021 Small Works on Paper touring exhibition, which will include the work of three Russellville artists.
Neal Harrington, Tammy Harrington and David Rackley, all of Russellville, were among the 26 artists whose work was chosen for for the exhibition, which will open at the East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City in January.
A virtual grand opening will be held at 7 p.m. on Jan. 15 on the Arkansas Arts Council’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
“We are excited to be able to recognize the wonderful and diverse talent of visual artists throughout Arkansas,” said Stacy Hurst, secretary for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. “Small Works on Paper showcases artists from every corner of our state and gives art lovers the opportunity to discover emerging artists and experience one-of-a-kind artworks they may otherwise never see.” ....
