The Leader’s first-ever South County Senior Expo will offer lots of fun activities and information from 8 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, May 1, at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 6050 Wells Road, in south St. Louis County. The event will feature free coffee and doughnuts, bingo, music and more.
About 400 people attended the De Soto Senior Expo which featured a fun morning of bingo, speakers, chances at prizes and even a couple owls and snakes.
The De Soto Senior Expo is slated for 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 3, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 13225 Hwy. E, in De Soto. After free doughnuts and coffee, an array of activities will be held, including free bingo; live music and dancing; entertaining speakers and informational displays
In conjunction with the upcoming De Soto Senior Expo, countians can send in photo entries of grandchildren, great-grandchildren or great-great-grandchildren.
About 1,000 people turned out for the Arnold Senior Expo on Aug. 23. The event, sponsored by Grand Times, Leader Publications’ magazine for seniors, was held in a new location this year: the Arnold Eagles on Jeffco Blvd.
The Arnold Senior Expo is set for Wednesday morning, Aug. 23, at the Arnold Eagles, 1725 Jeffco Blvd. The event will feature food, music, bingo, guest speakers and prizes.
Vendors are still needed for the Arnold Senior Expo set for Aug. 23 at the Arnold Eagles. People may still submit entries to the “Way Back When” photo contest.
There’s still another week to break out those old photos and send them in to the “Way Back When” photo contest sponsored by Grand Times, Leader Publications’ magazine for seniors.
Old pictures give seniors a chance to win in "Way Back When" photo contest.The contest is open to all Jefferson County and Eureka readers 50 and older. Entrants are asked to submit a photograph of a person, place, event or activity from long ago. Photos must be at least 25 years old. The deadline to submit a photo in the contest is 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3.
