Plans to erect a single-storey extension to house number 10 on the street off Marston Road were refused by Oxford City Council in January. Planning chiefs had said the roof shape of the new extension would 'form an incongruous and unacceptable relationship with, and fail to respect the character and appearance of the original house'.
