Peter Holdereid (Enterprise photo — Elizabeth Izzo) LAKE PLACID — Village Trustee Peter Holdereid was appointed Lake Placid’s new deputy mayor on Monday. The new appointment was made during the village’s annual organizational meeting, the first meeting led by recently elected Mayor Art Devlin, who was sworn in that day. Holdereid has been a village trustee since 2011. He and his family own and operate the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort on Main Street. He is a graduate of Lake Placid’s Northwood School.
