CHAMBER JOINS COALITION: The Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber has joined with Ohio businesses and trade organizations to mobilize Ohioans to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Led by the Ohio Business Roundtable, employers announced the Coalition to Stop the Spread, an initiative that recognizes the risk COVID-19 poses to Ohio’s economy and the gains that have been made since the initial shutdowns of businesses and schools.
The coalition asks people to wear a mask, not just where it is mandated in public, but when gathering with any small friend or family group beyond your immediate household.
The coalition’s mission is in line with the chamber’s EMERGE program, launched last year to help local businesses emerge from the pandemic. Hundreds of businesses have received one-on-one assistance, personal protective equipment and regular updates through the program. ....
