Ofcom completes 5G spectrum allocation - Mobile World Live 27 APR 2021 UK regulator Ofcom unveiled the outcome of its latest auction for 5G-suitable frequencies, with the total sum increased to £1.38 billion after EE added £23 million to its original bid. Nokia bags 5G order from Globe Telecom - Mobile World Live 24 FEB 2021 Nokia secured a three-year deal to upgrade Globe Telecom’s existing 4G network to 5G, and expand the next-generation technology to more than 1,000 sites across the Philippines.
