Family pay tribute to former editor of coastal titles Andrew Martin
A FAMILY has paid tribute to a committed coastal newspaper editor who had been in the industry for more than 50 years. Andrew Martin, who was living in Conwy Valley at the time of his death, started his newspaper career in 1968. His first job had been in printing. He did this for six months before securing a job as junior reporter on The Banbury Advertiser. After a couple of years, he got a reporting job on the Banbury Guardian as a sports reporter.
