New Eastleigh homes are a step closer to competition

A NEW development in Eastleigh has reached one step closed to completion as the build reached its highest point.
Summergate Lodge, a new Retirement Living development in North Stoneham, reached its highest point of the build in December.
A topping out ceremony was held to mark the key milestone for Housing 21’s latest Retirement Living scheme, which has been developed in partnership with Eastleigh Borough Council.
The Housing 21 team were joined by representatives from Eastleigh Borough Council and Highwood Homes to celebrate the occasion.
Paul Tewksbury, head of retirement living at Housing 21, said: “We are delighted to reach this important milestone in the development of Summergate Lodge. The scheme will provide much needed homes for older people in the area.”

Eastleigh retirement housing build reaches highest point

A RETIREMENT housing scheme in a Hampshire town has moved one step closer to completion.
The building of Summergate Lodge, a new retirement living development in North Stoneham, Eastleigh, has now reached its highest point.
A topping out ceremony was held to mark the key milestone for the scheme, which has been developed in partnership with Eastleigh Borough Council.
Housing providers, Housing 21, were joined by representatives from Eastleigh Borough Council and Highwood Homes to celebrate the occasion.
