Top priced lot at £3700 from Scar Top A flying trade for beef breeding cattle at Harrison and Hetherington's Kirkby Stephen mart, saw prices peak at £3700 by a Limousin cross heifer with Limousin cross heifer calf at foot from Messrs Brannen, Scar Top, Newbiggin. The buyers were Messrs Harryman, Keskadale Farm, Keswick, who also bought the lead priced cow and calf at £3200. This was a British Blue cross second calver with Limousin heifer calf from Messrs Hunter, Upper Brydekirk, Annan.
