Burlington enters 'red zone' as COVID-19 cases rise
Wicked Local Burlington has entered the “red zone” for the first time, as new cases of COVID-19 continue to rise here and throughout the state. Since the beginning of the year, the town has seen 648 cases, according to numbers posted on the state’s weekly public health report. The town reported a rate of 151 new cases over the past two weeks. The positivity rate for new tests over the past two weeks was 5.31%, a jump from last week’s rate of 3.68%.
