Governments you have maga fueled campaigns to basically go against these very tools. florida has a new surgeon general who is basically against using masks and against vaccine mandates and even downplayed the benefits of vacs on a medical basis. there is a new rule for schools where they say kids exposed to covid-19 who are asymptomatic can go back to school and don t need a mask. we saw something we mentioned earlier in the program, parents against masking in florida erupting at this school board meeting when officials moved to defy the governor s mask ban. the mask mandate and defiance of the governor s executive order is a way to control our children. it seems like you feel like children should be seen and not heard. highjacking the breath of our children and exerting unconstitutional control over them. it seems like you want masking forever. your power hungry ....

Show we have a high level of protection, including delta. including right up to the protect day. including all age groups. there was a study in israel that was at variance. the question was why. but i think if the answer to the question, are you protected if you ve gotten two doses of an mrna vaccine, i think it s yes you are protected against serious disease. i worry the booster discussion is going to make a lot of people think they re not protected but they are against serious disease. the other thing quickly is while it is true that these kinds of vaccines over time you ll see an erosion in neutralizing antibodies. and with that you ll see an erosion in protection say, against asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic infection. the notion is that if you give a booster, you ll have less contagious out there. although, i still think if you really want to get ahold of the pandemic, we re going to have to find a way to vaccinate people who are unvaccinated. i think every public health ....

States. in philadelphia covid outbreaks shut down at least four schools since opening up in recent weeks. more than 100,000 south carolina students have missed in-person learning due to the virus. in new york, ps-79 is the first public school in the nation s largest school district to close starting monday due to possible widespread exposure. with more than a year s worth of classroom time lost during the pandemic some school districts are turning to testing to keep in-person learning the strategy being applied in utah where the test to stay protocol is triggered when schools hit a certain threshold for outbreaks. administrators still have the option to go remote but mass testing allows students who are negative and asymptomatic to return to class. those who choose not to get tested would stay home. lindsay harris has four kids enrolled in utah schools. three are under 12 years old. if this program wasn t in effect how disruptive do you think the school year would be for you right no ....
