Over the minneapolis airport and continued flying for another 150 miles. then at 8:14 p.m. central time, an hour and 20 minutes after losing radio contact, controllers reestablished contact with the crew, which requested permission to turn around and land in minneapolis. upon landing at 9:00 p.m., the crew told the fbi and airport police they had been in a heated conversation about airline policy and lost situational awareness according to the ntsb. investigators will also look into whether the crew fell asleep or were tuned to a wrong radio frequency. veteran pilots say it's possible. >> the ...
