Candi J. Royer, 44, was sentenced to life in prison for the killing of 3-year-old Khaleesi Cuthriell of Staunton.
Candi J. Royer, 44, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in September for the killing of 3-year-old Khaleesi Cuthriell.
Tim Martin, Augusta County Commonwealth’s Attorney, said the charge of aggravated murder carries a mandatory life sentence, which, in Martin’s words, is where Brown deserves to be.
Khaleesi Cuthriell, 3, went missing in 2021. Travis R. Brown, 32, is one of two people convicted in her killing. He will be sentenced Friday.
Prosecutor Tim Martin is seeking to have Richard Moore found guilty and sentenced on a perjury charge after he reneged on a plea deal, records show.
