Critical race theory is behind calls that Australia is a 'racist nation': Kenny

Sky News host Chris Kenny says the position, held by the likes of the ABC, that Australia is a racist nation has its origins in "critical race theory" where everything is viewed through the "prism of identity politics".

"We have spoken a bit about racism this week," Mr Kenny said.

"About people like the ABC always trying to talk up racism... using their latest Australia Talks survey to try to argue that we are a racist nation and that we need a national strategy to tackle this shameful blight on our country.

"All of this can be traced back of course to critical race theory, and the worldwide movement to view all white people as privileged and innately racist, and to see everything through the prism of identity politics."

Mr Kenny said kids don't judge people by colour or creed but any discrimination that happens is "learned from others" later on.

"It's just all about what Martin Luther King Junior that is we judge people not by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character."

Mr Kenny also spoke with GT Communications' Liz Storer and Broadcaster Justin Smith on the issue of critical race theory and woke agendas.

ABC takes your dollars to 'confect artificial stories' designed to 'insult you'

The ABC takes your tax dollars to “confect artificial stories designed to insult you,” and instead of stopping it, the national broadcaster’s chair “indulges and promotes it,” according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“With more than a billion dollars of your money coming its way each year, the ABC is always looking for new ways to spend it,” Mr Kenny said.

“And while it has enormous trouble just reporting the news sometimes, it also likes to cook some up - which is one reason it does a survey called Australia Talks.

“It’s really just a low rent way of concocting stories, based on getting people to fill out online surveys.”

Mr Kenny pointed to an early Australia Talks story, which said three quarters of Australians “reckon we’re living in a racist country”.

“So they take your tax dollars, to confect artificial stories, designed to insult you,” he said.

“Instead of stopping this sort of corrosive indulgence, the ABC chair indulges and promotes it.”
