Brian Conrad, a cloud computing and cybersecurity expert, has joined Zscaler as director of global compliance and authorizing authority liaison. He will bring to the role his extensive experience in the military, federal government and industry to help the company's clients meet compliance priorities and advance zero trust implementation in support of their digital transformation goals, Zscaler said in a news release published April 4.
Relias, a North Carolina-based healthcare services provider, has attained an "In Process" designation for its workforce education and enablement services under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program. The company said Tuesday the designation signifies its ongoing pursuit of a FedRAMP Agency authorization for its services.

Tiffanny Gates, a more than two-decade federal cybersecurity executive and a three-time Wash100 awardee, has joined the board of directors of Washington, D.C.-based data-centric security platforms provider Virtru. “As the Department of Defense modernizes its digital infrastructure to a zero trust architecture, innovative data security tools like Virtru enable our service members to securely collaborate and share sensitive information across domains,” Gates said in a statement published Thursday.
