One other claim i wanted to fact check is it will be people expedient, people will be rapidly accepted if they do have a legitimate claim of asylum. that would only work if we vastly increase the number of immigration judges we have because it's up to a judge to make that decision. right now, we have fewer than 1,000 immigration judges spread across this country and over 100,000 immigrants crossing the border every month. the backlog is only getting bigger, almost 800,000 asylum cases waiting to be heard in this country. so expediency does not seem to be on the radar anytime soon. >> julia, th...
