Labelling and date code software systems supplier AutoCoding Systems has been acquired by JBT Corporation in a deal worth £12.5m. JBT said the acquisition of AutoCoding extended its capabilities in packaging line equipment and associated devices, including coding and label inspection and verification. In particular, it saw a strategic fit with its tray sealing business Proseal.
