Peter Paul was born in Steubenville, OH, on August 21, 1946, to Peter Paul and Rose Torchio Altomare, Sr. Paul grew up in Weirton and graduated from Weirton Madonna High School in 1964, where he was a member of the OVAC Champion football team coached by Joe Krivak. Paul served as a Sargent in the United States Army in the First Signal Group in Vietnam. Returning to Weirton, Paul had a 30-year career with Weirton Steel, where he worked in the tin mill and was a union steward for 15 years. In the early 80’s Paul and his friends Pat and Bill opened up Pat’s Place, a popular nightspot in Weirton. ....
