Even The 2024 Total Solar Eclipse Doesn't Want To Go To Laval
On April 8, 2024, a solar eclipse will cross North America. Montreal lies directly in its path. From much of the city, the moon will appear to completely block out the sun — a total eclipse. But because Montreal Island finds itself right at the northern limit of the path of totality, areas north of the city, such as Laval, won't get to experience the full event.
