New mobile baling solution reduces the risk of landfill fires Each year, there are around 500 reported incidents of landfill fires in the UK, causing huge environmental and financial damage. Recently, several European manufacturers along with earthmoving company, Oosterveld, based in the Netherlands, have collaborated to develop a unique waste compaction solution to help prevent these fires igniting.
