Fly. that s up over last year the job of keeping everybody safe is even bigger than ever. what kind of pressure is this likely to put the t.s.a. under to maybe back away from some of this extra searching? well, i don t think they are going to back away. i think they are going to refine their procedures. obviously any time you introduce, you know, new procedures. some people aren t going to do it correctly. i think they are going to keep these new procedures in place. they are going to expand the number of back scanners, millimeter scanners across the country. only 6 airports have them today. i think we are going to see this be part of the regime that you go through at every airport in the united states a whole report what they are looking forward to. they would like to have a thousand of these scanners. at the nbc n ntsb. ....

Abdulmutallab went to. he went to the duty-free store. came back bought it again, went on the through security and got on the aircraft. how trouble is it that that airport still appears to be gaps in security? well, that should be troubling to everybody who is involved in aviation, aviation security. but that s why we have to have many layers of security. there are errors that are going to occur. that s going to happen, given the volume of passengers. that travel. that s why we re focusing on more information about who is traveling. more passenger vetting. better exchange of data that we have. and to do it in a global setting, so that everybody has the same information. we know who s getting on the plane. right. and one of the things you re also going to be relying on, particularly here in the united states when it comes to the airport security, the back scanners, total body or whole body scanners, you re hoping to get 250 of those deployed by the end of the year. you ve already go ....
