Haemophiliacs in the uk, perhaps many more people who received a blood transfusion. today, this week, the focus is on this one school in hampshire, and some of the stories coming out of the school are pretty harrowing. back in the mid 70s to mid—80s, around 122 young haemophiliacs went to that school, a boarding school for children with physical disabilities. you wouldn't really call haemophilia a disability now, but that is how it was viewed, and they were given, along with other haemophiliacs, a new type of clotting agent that helps the blood clot. now, for these boys, this was life changi...
