The Calcutta High Court on 22nd May 2024 struck down executive orders relating to the notification of 37 sub-classifications of OBC's and issuance of OBC certificates post the year 2010, in relation to appointments in government services.
According to the new order, the OBC certificate that was issued by the State Government now cannot be used to get any job or any facilities
