शेयर गर्नुहोस: गलेश्वर, साउन ४ गते । म्याग्दीको रघुगङ्गा गाउँपालिका–३ स्थित गलेश्वरपारिको बस्ती पहिरोको उच्च जोखिममा परेको छ । पहिरो आएर पुरिने डरले यहाँका ३० घरपरिवार रातभर जाग्राम बस्न बाध्य भएका छन् । बस्तीमाथिको भिरालो पाखो लस्किएर बस्तीनजिक आइपुगेको छ । गलेश्वर–पिप्ले–भगवती–बेगखोला सडक निर्माणमा लापर्बाही गर्दा बस्ती नै पहिरोको जोखिममा परेको स्थानीयवासी बताउँछन् । गत वर्षदेखि सडक निर्माण थालिएको थियो । कमजोर र भिरालो जमिनमा जथाभावीरूपमा सडक बनाउँदा पहिरो गएको स्थानीयवासी बताउँछन् । जेठको पहिलो सातादेखि नै यहाँका बासिन्दाले राति सुत्न पाएका छैनन् । विकासका नाममा निम्तिएको विनाशका कारण आफ्नो थातथलो छोड्नुपर्ने अवस्था आएपछि यहाँका स्थानीयवासी चिन्तित छन् । सडक बनाउँदा पर्याप्त सावधानी नअपनाएका कारण बस्तीमाथि पहिरो खस्न थालेको स्थानीयवासी टककुमारी छन्त्यालले बताउनुभयो । कमजोर भूभागमा सडक बनाउन डोजरले जथाभावी भत्काउनु र त्यसपछि संरक्षण र रोकथामको काम नगरेका कारण पूरै पाखो खस्न थालेको छन्त्यालको भनाइ छ । वर्षौंदेखि बसेको घर छाडेर हिँड्नुपर्ने अवस्था आउन लागेको छन्त्यालले बताउनुभयो । “बस्तीमाथिको पाखोबाट खसेको पहिरोले घर पुर्न लागेको छ । दुई महिनायता राति निदाउन पाएका छैनौँ”, छन्त्यालले भन्नुभयो, “३५ वर्षदेखि बसेको थातथलो छोडेर कहाँ जाने ? हामीहरुलाई चिन्ता लागेको छ ।” गत वर्षदेखि बस्तीमाथिको जमिन चर्किएर पहिरो खस्न थालेको थियो । हिउँदमा कुनै निकायले पनि संरक्षणको पहल नगर्दाको परिणाम यस पटकको बर्खामा देखिन थालेको भन्दै स्थानीयवासी आक्रोशित बनेका छन् । यहाँका कतिपय बासिन्दा घर छोडेर हिँड्ने तर्खरमा रहेका र कतिले वल्लो गलेश्वर बजारमा भाडामा कोठा लिएर बसेका स्थानीयवासी तिलबहादुर पुनले बताउनुभयो । बस्ती जोगाउन संरक्षणको काम गर्नका लागि गत वर्षदेखि नै सम्बन्धित निकायको ध्यानाकर्षण गराइए पनि कुनै काम नभएको स्थानीयवासी बताउँछन् । सम्बन्धित निकायबाट पहिरो नियन्त्रण, भलबाढी व्यवस्थापन र बस्ती संरक्षणमा केही काम हुन नसकेका कारण बस्ती जोखिममा परेको गलेश्वरवासीको भनाइ छ । सडक निर्माण गर्दा लापर्बाही भएका कारण बस्ती जोखिममा परेको र सडक पनि दिगो नभएको स्थानीय बुद्धिजीवी दीपक कार्की बिखर्चीले बताउनुभयो । जथाभावी खनिएका सडकका कारण गलेश्वरपारिको बस्ती मात्रै होइन म्याग्दीका १९ वटा बस्तीका सयौँ घर र परिवार जोखिममा छन् । यो समाचार पढेर तपाईलाई कस्तो लाग्यो? यो पनि हेर्नुहोस् कृष्णमुरारी भण्डारी सल्लाहकार सम्पादक : गाेपाल खनाल सम्पादक : सूचना तथा प्रशारण विभाग दर्ता: १५३८/०७६-७७

Image Source: IANS News Kathmandu, May 4 : Nepal has registered the highest single-day Covid-19 cases and deaths amid an ongoing resurgence of the pandemic in the Himalayan nation. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Population on Monday, the pandemic killed 37 people and infected 7,448 people in the last 24 hours, Xinhua news agency reported. With the new surges, the country's overall caseload and death toll currently stood at 343,418 and 3,362, respectively. Nepali health officials said the ongoing second wave of the pandemic has proved to be much infectious and deadly.

Likewise, the COVID-19 cases reported on Monday broke an earlier record registered on Sunday when the South Asian country reported 7,211 cases.
