Lincoln softball drops three games to finish Alvy Early Classic
The Lincoln Blue Tiger softball team dropped all three games of a tripleheader Sunday, losing to Arkansas Tech once and Arkansas-Monticello twice in the Alvy Early Memorial Classic. The Blue Tigers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning of Game 1 against Arkansas Tech. Emma Rakes started the rally with a one-out single and Leslie Callahan followed with a double, one of her three hits in the game. Emily Williams singled home Rakes and Callahan was able to cross the plate after a throwing error by Brooke Prewitt.
